I’m not sure whether the long winters or the steep hills are to blame for the lack of bike racks in Halifax, but this parking meter right out front of local yarn shop The Loop made a perfect spot for this yarnbomb.
Big thanks to the fabulous people at Fibre Lab for organizing the mass yarnbomb at the Textile Museum of Canada! The project looks great! The following is a selection of pictures showcasing the Tangle bike lock, but check out the Fibre Lab website for even more images of the total project.
Thanks to everyone around the globe who submitted materials, and special thanks to the organizers and the Textile Museum of Canada. This was a fun project to be a part of!
The wonderful people at Fibre Lab have coordinated a special mass yarnbombing project with the Textile Museum of Canada and have been accepting submissions from all over the globe. The plan is to yarnbomb the planters and bike racks in front of the museum. Bike racks? Yes, bike racks!
The yarnbomb will be happening at the end of this month, but for now you can check out photos of all the submissions – including this Tangle bike lock – at the Fibre Lab website.
